The Costa Rica Oasis is a beautiful oasis in the desert, between Paracas and Pisco. It is famous for its imposing sand dunes, its beautiful landscape, and its adrenaline-filled activities, such as sandboarding and tubing.

Itinerary

08:00 AM Our short activities will begin with pickup from the Paracas Port Terminal. Our official tour guide will be waiting for you at the Paracas Port Terminal pier, where cruise ships arrive. He will hold a sign with your first and last name, or perhaps the name of the Excursions In Perú agency. Once he or she has located you, our official tour guide will direct you to our vehicle to begin your tour.

8:30 AM We will board the vehicle to head from Paracas to the Oasis Costa Rica, crossing the desert and dunes of California, experiencing and enjoying the adventure of this activity. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes.

09:00 AM We will arrive at the Oasis Costa Rica, where we will practice sandboarding, which consists of riding a board on the sand. Later you will enjoy free time to participate in the activities the destination offers: paddleboarding, trekking, kayaking, and rowing.

11:00 AM We conclude our tour of the Costa Rica Oasis and finally board our vehicle to return to the city of Paracas.

12:00 AM We arrive in Paracas and head to the San Martin Port Terminal.

12:30 AM We conclude the tour with the return to the San Martin Port Terminal.

Recomendations

To fully enjoy your trip, we recommend bringing the following:

– Shoes (recommended for sandboarding, and during the day from 10 am to 2 pm, it’s difficult to walk barefoot in summer or on sunny days).
– A hat or cap with a tie (essential as it will help protect you from the intense sun).
– Long-sleeved shirt or polo shirt.
– Plenty of water.
– A windbreaker is recommended in the afternoon or during the winter season.
– Apply sunscreen at least one hour before setting out on your trip.
– Pants (will protect you from sunburn when sandboarding lying down or sitting down).
Sunglasses.
– Children over 4 years old ride in their own seat.
– Children 2 to 3 years old wear skirts (parents’ responsibility).

Restrictions

NOT RECOMMENDED: For people with high blood pressure, cardiac arrest, back surgery, pre-existing injuries, pregnant women, and people who are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
