Start a beautiful day with a modern boat ride to the Ballestas Islands. This fully guided tour begins with the Candelabra statue and continues with sea lions, penguins, pelicans, and other animals in their habitat surrounding the Ballestas Islands.
Just a few hours from Paracas and Pisco, we find an archaeological site known as Tambo Colorado, which conveys a part of Inca history. You need to visit this majestic place; we offer a fantastic, stress-free experience in this archaeological area so you can discover the great legacy of our ancestors.
BALLESTAS ISLANDS TOUR
8:20 AM START• You will board a speedboat where you will be provided with life jackets, and the adventure begins.
• We will sail along the coast of the Paracas Peninsula where you will discover the mysterious geoglyph known as the Candelabro, where the guide will explain its theory.
• We will then visit a group of islands and islets with 20-30 meter rock formations, one of which is known as the Profile of Christ and the Arch of Desire.
• A resting area for birds such as zarcillos, pelicans, guanays, boobies, and more.
• You will visit the maternity area where you will see beautiful sea lions and Humboldt penguins. You will also have time and the best angles for amazing photography.
• After 2 hours at sea, this incredible adventure ends, and we will approach the town of Paracas to visit the Tambo Colorado archaeological site.

10:45 AM Our visit to Tambo Colorado will begin with a transfer from our office in Paracas, where our official tour guide from Excursions In Peru will escort you to our vehicle to begin your tour. 12:00 PM we arrive at the Tambo Colorado archaeological site and stroll through the best-preserved citadel in Peru. We can see buildings that combine evidence of two important cultures. An Inca settlement dating back to 1450 AD, the Inca and Chincha cultures are part of the rock-based architecture, with trapezoidal windows and entrances, seen in important buildings such as Machu Picchu and Coricancha, reflecting the adaptation of Quechua architects and engineers to the new coastal environment they were beginning to conquer. The activity is led by a professional bilingual Spanish and English tourism guide 01:15 PM we finish the guided tour and head to the vehicle with our guide. 01:30 PM we return from Tambo Colorado to the Port of San Martín in Paracas. 03:00 PM the entire tour concludes, leaving you for your cruise.
