10:45am – We pick up our passengers from our EXCURSIONS IN PERU meeting point office, with our exclusive transportation (air conditioning included).
11:00am – We begin our guided tour from the beginning of the tour explaining about the Paracas National Reserve, why is it so important? What does Paracas mean? And how much we preserve the nature of the Paracas reserve.
11:30am – We arrive at our first stop, the viewpoint of LA CATEDRAL, a rock formation that is around 28 million years old, explaining about the fall of the main ARCH that gave it the shape of a cathedral before the 2007 earthquake, we observe a variety of birds such as pelicans and Franklin’s gull, helping our passengers so they can take group and individual photos and videos.
11:45am – We walk to the SUPAY beach viewpoint explaining the geographical formations of the place, seeing the beach landscape and also the Devil’s Profile.
12:00am – We continue our way to the Santa Maria viewpoint where you can see the peninsula of the Paracas National Reserve. This isthmus is a strip of land that is located between the peninsula and the Paracas Bay. We can also see evidence of sea salt, which is a visual point from above towards the red beach.
12:20pm – We go down and go to the Red Beach viewpoint, a beach with reddish sand due to the volcanic activity that existed in this place and the amount of minerals such as iron and granodiorite. Only 5 places in the world have this peculiar sand: Morocco, Hawaii, Greece (x2) and Peru.
12:50pm – We arrive at La Mina beach to bathe in its crystal-clear waters. Giving passengers a reasonable time of 40 minutes to enjoy the sea, minutes before 2pm we group together so that we can continue to our last point, Lagunillas beach.
1:40pm – We arrive at Lagunillas beach to have lunch at the EL CHE restaurant, since their dishes are the most delicious and presentable, however it is optional, passengers can choose the restaurant of their choice, 2:40pm – after finishing lunch we gather in the minivan to return to the town of Paracas.
2:40pm – we return to the district of Paracas
3:00pm – we arrive at our starting point as the end of the activity. EXCURSIONS IN PERU saying goodbye to each of our passengers cordially.
